Hyatt House Richmond / Short Pump

Check in went smoothly customer service was good everything felt old the paint job in room #203 lacks completion the room seems okay at first glance my room floor was dirty the couch had left over food crumbs the bed was pretty firm but comfortable the heat in the room came on whenever it felt like it. it made weird noises all night I didn't even bother with breakfast once I seen the microwave I new cracker barrel here I come I mean that had to be the first microwave ever made moving on the hotel got a 3star the upkeep is a big shocker we pay higher than normal prices these days the customer wants quality step out of the 80s into the 2023 I've stayed at Hyatt hotel before loved the room design the quality of cleaning threw it off so I didn't complain I just stayed one 🌃

This Hyatt house is perfectly located. The amount of shopping and restaurants in the immediate area is amazing. My interactions with the staff were all very pleasant. The entire facility was clean. There is an outdoor rooftop patio, which is really nicely set up. The room was perfect. It was spacious, and it was clean. Larger than expected kitchen area, which worked out very well for me. There is a bar in the hotel lobby, which is a nice option for a quick nightcap. The breakfast had many hot and cold food and drink options. Overall, it was a really good experience.

My wife and I stayed in one of the Whirlpool suites for our first night away from the kids in five years. The room was superb and all of the staff were super helpful. We really enjoyed the bar, and the bartender was great. We had one issue, and I think it was a pretty major problem that was never properly addressed. We went to check-in to our room a little after 4pm, and it was not ready. We had to wait around for about 30-40 minutes in the lobby waiting for them to finish cleaning it. It doesn't sound like a major issue, but we had to adjust our dinner reservations because of it.
